This was a fun, colorful website to make. The deadline was very tight but the enhd result was great. It has a Caribbean feel and makes us dream about vacations…

This is what the client said: “They are excellent! Gave me everything I asked for and more! Highly recommended!”

ps. We’ll be using this website for our next Caribbean visit, for sure ;-)

We have finished designing and uploading a website with a whole heap of resources for Caribbean people, and for people traveling to the Caribbean. The URL still makes me smile everytime I see it – www.datwicked.com :-D

I love how the fonts have turned out – one of the few that captures an essence and doesn’t look overwhelming when it is used n all capitals. The gradient on the icons that link to the free sites within this site give them that extra bit of lift, so they jump of the page at you and make you want to click them. But they also feel like the Caribbean sun beating down on each of the separate sites – like by clicking on the link, you’ll be there already. Someplace warmer, friendlier, and more pineapple flavored!

Sound is difficult to incorporate in websites sometimes – when it loads as soon as the page loads, it can be overwhelming, and make people close the window just to shut it up. But with this one, it loads some time after the page, and is so brief it just recaptures your attention and makes you smile. I won’t spoil the surprise of what it actually is – have a look yourself!

Scrolling down is like slowly making your way to the bottom of a beautiful tropical drink … grape, pomegranate, banana and pineapple flavored.

Overall I think it turned out to be quite a multi-sensory experience!
